Guidelines for a successful consignment:                          Please make an appointment to bring in your items

Item must be clean, a fee or commission on your items will be charged for large quantity of items left and needing to be washed.

Type of items are: home decor items such as lighting, art, statues, furniture, crystal & china, designer purses in clean condition and are like new, costume/designer & genuine jewelry pieces, collectible's, Military uniforms, vintage stereo equipment & guitars

Saginaw St. Consignments, is not responsible for the loss of consigned merchandise due to theft, casualty or any other matters beyond control.  Your items are covered under disasters like fire, and insurance certificate for coverage are available for off site sales.

Pricing & Duration

Pricing is done by SSC., & items will be reduced until sold. Mark downs can be 20% to 50% or more.  If you have an Antique or piece of Art that you need a "bottom line price" please note the item on your contract.  Items must remain on the floor for a minimum of 90 days and consignees may make an appointment to pick up any unsold items after 90 days.  Items sold on Ebay may take longer and notes will be made on your contract.  It is the Consignor's responsibility to maintain contact for item's left over 90 day's.    Any items left with no contact over 90 days will be forfeited to the store.

Payment:

Saginaw Street Consignments will be entitled to retain 50% of the sale for all goods sold in our retail or virtual store and 60% on Ebay. A check will be paid the following 1 to 3 month's or over 50.00 dollars.  Consignors with be paid for the amount of the sale price less the commission earned by SSC, to the seller at the address set for the consignor on the consignment contract.

  Terms & Conditions:                                                                                    All sales are final.  I reserve the right to make changes to the Terms & Conditions on the consignor contract from time to time as I see fit, and any changes will automatically effect all inventory over 90 days old.  Any changes will be noted on the "how to consign" page of this web site and it is the responsibility of the consignor to keep updated.
